I have the new Sony FX9 on pre-order (waited 6 days after it was announced, that was enough to miss the first shipments).
Considering the popularity of the Sony FS7 cameras, the FX9 looks to be another very popular camera.
It introduces a new way of handling stabilisation, by recording gyro metadata, that can be used to stabilise the footage in post. This will be near instantaneous. And you can select the amount etc.
Right now it's only supported in Sony's own Catalyst Browse/Prepare software but Sony claims they've invited all other NLE developers to add support for it.
