Hi,
Were making a home movie with the kids and I was wondering if there was any suggestion of filter effect I could apply to all the video clips to make it more "movie" like look. It was filmed with an iPhone inside the house... This is all for fun.

Thanks!

There's no magic button to make digital video look like film. First, light and block and shoot and edit it like film, that's 90 percent of the game. But if you're just working with young kids and just want to slap an effect on it, the Looks category has a couple that could help, that comes with FCPX. In the Stylize category, look at the Aged Film, Film Grain, and Film Noir effects that come with FCPX. Also mLooks from MotionVFX perhaps? You're basically doing three things: softening the image slightly, color grading it like film, adding film grain.
