Hey all, I'm new to Final Cut Pro (I'm actually an audio guy - but need to do a little video work). I have seen on a few FCP tutorials that some users seem to have zoom controls as a slider in the bottom right of the screen all the time. I use Logic all the time and find the zoom controls it has really useful so I instinctively keep looking for them in FCP - how can I display them? Thanks

They removed that "zoom" slider for the timeline on the bottom a while back. The zoom of the timeline is under the "clip" icon.

However, I would just click the timeline area and then command + or - to zoom in and out of the timeline.

Otherwise, if you have a trackpad-- you should be able to pinch or expand the timeline.

I still wonder why the removed it from the bottom right of the interface. I found it very convenient to have it on hand. I did, however, dust off the track pad which I wasn't really using, and now using it for scrolling and zooming the time line. Thanks again for the tips.
