Hello guys,

I have this scene where two pictures have to slide into the screen from left one after another. I put each picture in a layer by itself above the main clip with a time gap between them, then applied the transition to both. The first picture slides well, but when the second picture’s time comes, the transition is applied to the first picture as well!

I read that I have to combine each picture and it’s transition into a compound clip. I did that but it resulted in making the first compound/picture to disappear when the second compound/picture is in move!

My question is: how to slide the second picture in while keeping the first one intact? This should be a simple thing to do, but I don’t understand why fcp is making it too hard!

Either manually keyframe it, or put it and the transition into a Compound Clip.
