Hi everyone, I'm new to the board & a FCP new user! So glad I find this site!

I played around with the software bit as I follow some online videos, but now I'm editing my first project & haven't found an answer :(

I'm editing an audio interview between two people & I'm wondering if it's possible to edit individual audio tracks?
I see in Audio Configuration there are two separate dialogue files / sections, but they both say "Dialogue 1" and have both subjects talking. I need to edit 1 of the subjects, without causing adjustments on the other.

Is it possible to bring their individual dialogues to the timeline or separate them somehow? I've tried finding an answer online, but I'm not sure I'm being clear (many reference video).

I appreciate any assistance or help. Thanks!

If the recording is on two tracks, you might want to use the expand audio components function in the Clip menu to access the separate tracks.
