How do i create GLOBAL fade in that encompasses all my tracks? I have text and video on separate tracks. Standard fade in only effects video track and not my text.

Transitions should effect titles, yet that doesn’t look like a title template but a video clip. How are you creating that title? Aside from that, you can put them all in a Compound Clip.

Add an adjustment layer on top, Add Fade to Color or keyframe Opacity. This will affect all layers below.

I usually just put a Solid Black from the Generators tab on top of everything and apply the fade to that.

There are a few free plugins to do this very easily. Cineflare has a free Cineflare Fader, and here is one posted in this forum by Danjocross in 2015:
