I am not sure what setting I need to change but when I import from my camera card (footage shot with Fuji XT3 h.265) the imported footage in the event shows up with with a small camera icon, which think indicates that the files still remain on the card. However when I drag the clips into the event they load and seem to transcode correctly. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks

Be sure you have your import settings indicating to copy the original into the Library.

Select the Library in the Browser.
Go to the Inspector, click the "Modify Settings" button.
Be sure that Media is set to "In Library" and click OK.
Click the "Consolidate" button in the Media section below that.

When you import (Cmd-i) make sure in the Files section on the left, "Copy to library" is selected.

To control drag-and-drop behaviors, go to the Preferences, to the Import sections. These are the settings used for drag-and-drop imports.
