Any idea what type of ssd was used in Apple's new M1 Mac mini/MacBook pro/Air ? NVMe? Their speed? RAM speed?
Since there is no reference to it in Apple site...

From the tests I've seen online, I think it is about 3000 MBps

That's incredibly fast!
Considering the speed benefit for repetitive tasks, do you think keeping FCP cash folders/FCP backup copies and lean FCP libraries (files in place) in the system drive advantageous when running FCP on this new machines? or better keep them in external raid systems?
