Hi,
When importing a tif image, it is darker in FCPX than when opening it in the Finder (see image below). No problem with jpg though.
How can I have the FCPX image as bright as it should be ?

I've not used a TIF file in ages. Anyway, convert it to PNG or JPEG and see how that looks.

Everything uses its own color space. The Finder is using the macOS color space, Final Cut is using REC709, they don't always match up.

Be sure your image is RGB to start with. And you can always brighten it up with the color wheels or color board.
