TOPIC: Make individual scale keyframes linear?

Make individual scale keyframes linear? 02 Dec 2020 01:06 #111156

When I have a 4 kf scale-only move (w/no repo), the keyframes sit on top of each other in the viewer dropdown and I've read in older forums there's no way to change each individual kf's motion characteristics. Has this been fixed in any way? Thx!

The keyframes are linear by default, and the ability to adjust them to bezier is not possible.  It's not a broken issue, just not a feature implemented in FCP.  It's been requested many times as a feature update but so far hasn't been provided. You can click the clip and use Control-V to open the animation editor.  Once there you can control-click between keyframes to open a selection of linear and ease in/ease out options, although I believe this only applies to the opacity paramater and not to scale.

You can't do that with Transform keyframes.

I know.  That's why I said I believe it only applies to opacity and not scale.
