Hello there! I'm trying to animate mask points, and then change the interpolation of the keyframes with ease in / ease out. The problem is, Motion won't let me actually apply an ease to the keyframes generated for my mask movement. I'm sure this is possible, and that I'm just too caught up in trying to make it work like after effects lol.

On another note, does anyone know how to make the generator I save from motion retain its original speed even if I cut it in final cut x to apply a fade?

Final Cut X newb here, any help appreciated!

-Josh

Hi Josh!

Unfortunately Motion's masks only support Linear interpolation, at least for now :|

As for trimming Generators in FCPX, you can prevent them from re-timing by simply dropping them into Compound Clips (Alt+G) and trim the CCs instead.
Best of the best.. motionVFX :]
