Western Digital are the latest company to show off their new Thunderbolt products. The good news is that they have two ports so they can be daisy chained together or have data looped through.
On the show floor at this year's MacWorld, Western Digital are previewing their latest drive, the My Book Thunderbolt Duo. The unit contains two end user swappable drives in a 4TB or 6TB in total configuration. The picture above and the video show four of these daisy chained together to provide a RAID0 24 terabyte disk on the desktop. The units will be available in Q1, no news on price.
Also remember that at the moment you still have to buy the Thunderbolt cables from Apple! Many thanks to Engadget for providing the video.
