fixed resolution in motion

Motion by default will have fixed resolution toggled on for objects that get imported into the Media Browser. But when should you turn this option off and when is it beneficial to leave it set to fixed?

We have seen many editors using Motion who scale up objects in Motion and wonder why they look soft or pixelated. The key here is to understand when you should use and when you shouldn't use fixed resolution. Luckily we have the expert MacBreak duo of Mark Spencer and Steve Martin to explain exactly what is going on with PDF & Photoshop files, hidden options and that great tell tale, the bounding box.

Many thanks again to Steve and Mark for the episode, don't forget to check out their excellent training books for FCPX and Motion.
