Does anyone know of a standalone plugin that blurs only the chroma?
CoreMelt has one, but it's only available in $199 bundle.
Have some old DV footage with very blocky color, and the CoreMelt does a great job. Wondering if there is a less costly option.
Yup... also having the same issue.
Interesting... unfortunately I have never used those parameters on import... but glad to read that if remedied the issue for you.
Thank you Ronny... I appreciate the offer... unfortunately due to client confidentiality I'm unable to do so. Obviously there are workarounds (converting to proRes before import, etc.)
I was just wondering if anyone else has ever encountered this issue.
They are h.264 mp4 files—in this particular instance they were created with Handbrake—though in the past the files were given to me already in that format.
Running OSX Sierra and FCPX 10.3.2—though this has happened on various machines with different configs and versions of FCPX.
Good point... I'll try it again and see what happens.
Can't say that I made it a point to verify on the initial import.,. but wondering...
wouldn't FCPX creating thumbnails and drawing waveforms be separate from having picture and audio?
They are just a representation of what FCPX finds/sees in the actual file... no?
Has anyone ever had an issue with the second half of audio missing after import?
I have had it happen multiple times over the years with various versions of FCPX... always seems to happen when importing multiple (10 or more) h.264 mp4 files.
I tried deleting and re-importing—same thing. Checked the files outside of FCPX... and they have audio throughout.
This might have been answered somewhere... so forgive me if I have missed it.
I was wondering if there was a known workflow regarding re-conforming a:
FCPX xml -- to -- X2Pro -- to -- Logic
There have been times that I received client feedback after the audio has been mixed and would love to be able to simply re-conform to a new/updated AAF
THANK YOU RONNY!
It worked! So thankful!
Thanks for the suggestion.... but unfortunately didn't help.
While this is a small thing... it's pretty annoying.
