Karsten Schlüter has the right idea. You would only needs two layers and you would have to make use of the position and crop filter if you only wanted two camera angles.

That is super easy. They are simply zooming out on the text and video. There is probably a zoom transition that will also do it. If not you can key frame it (pan, zoom etc).

The animation and voice over seemed good. On a side note I used to work for the Detroit Cable Commission. We had Public Access and Government Access channel as well. I don't doubt you are involved in 5-10 productions per week.

Avid, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and the BMD products get mentioned from time to time. Other people do use them. That being said I thought I had put this post in the of topic forum. I don't mind if this post gets moved to the off topic forum.

I am not sure if anyone else has tried using the Intensity Shuttle with DR.

It depends on what you are trying to do. That being said using key-frames is not that difficult with FCPX.

Were you born to be an A-hole. People have made posts about DR in the FCPX forum many times. My post is in the off topic forum. Some people might be curious about the real-time playback capabilities of DR.

FCPX.guru wrote: arc, you've been threatened with being blocked yourself, please stop and stick to being helpful with Apple pro apps.

I do help people Mr. Guru and you know it. Xavier consistently makes harassing statements towards me. You even mentioned it. That being said I have done nothing to cause me to get banned. I will state FCP/Apple forums are always a bit different from any other forum. That being said I would never have been blocked form the Edius forum, the Matrox forum, the Pinnacle forums or any other forums for anything I have posted thus far. I can say Xavier would have been blocked by now in any other forum besides this forum. Do you see my point?

It is kind of like a PIP with tapering at the bottom. It seems like using a mask along with the PIP controls would work but I am not 100% sure. Usually I would test it out but I am super busy.

hahaha guru, losing temper with this guy also :)

he is a virus, always a little perversion, always... every post.

Xavier, you are the pot calling the kettle black. That being said you are in these forums to troll as opposed to helping. I am surprised you have not been blocked.

I am glad to here that the Intensity Shuttle/Panasonic ES10 worked out for you. That being said why can't BMD revamp the Intensity Shuttle? It is 2020.

Perhaps you should take your own advise. I left a very simple response that did not require you to go into full blown A-hole mode.

If someone is having problems doing a PIP they probably don't have a clue about 3-D animation. If the product is an original product it might be very complex. No one is going to create the model for free. We could suggest Cameron allow a visual effects artist to do everything but I am under the impression Cameron has a limited budget.

I don't think Cameron has a 3-D model of the product. I also don't think he knows how to create them.

If you just want the product and not a PIP with borders you will need to get a green screen and place the product in front of it. Then you can chroma-key out the green background with any NLE.

Since several people have wondered about the merits of DaVinci Resolve VS the competition I thought this demonstration might prove to be interesting. That being said is performance more important than a good GUI?

I have never tried to create parent and child objects with motion. If Motion can make use of inverse kinematics and forward dynamics you are golden.

It look a lot like rigging in 3-D animation software. Can you create a hot point or center point for the skull on which it can rotate?
