good green screen in final cut pro

In this week's episode of MacBreak Studio, Steve Martin shows how to pull a good key using green screen media in Final Cut Pro X. One click does a lot, but there's a lot more...

There is no doubt that the FCPX built-in keyer can pull some amazing keys from green or blue screen footage with just one click. But what about tweaking the keyer for even better results?

In the 10.0.3 update, Apple introduced the fabulous Motion chromakeyer into FCPX. In this new episode of MacBreak Studio, Steve Martin shows Mark Spencer how to tweak that keyer to get perfect results, even when the background to be removed is less than perfect.

The episode is longer than normal and packs a whole bunch of information in, well worth thirteen minutes of your time.

If you would like to know more, the tutorial that the guys talk about is called Compositing in Final Cut Pro X and it can be found along with other great tutorials on the Ripple Training website.
