FCP6 strobe effect is de-interlacing - help

Hello All.

I've got XDCAM EX 1080p25 footage on a ProRes 1080p25 timeline, all's well until I add the strobe effect from the video effect folder.

This effect is de-interlacing my video, even though it's shot and set to progressive, so it's halving my resolution and ruining the image.

Any idea how to get round this, I've looked elsewhere for another strobe effect, including third parties. There's lots of other alternatives that do other types of strobing but I want the really simple effect in progressive.

After a few minutes Googling and finding a few tidbits, I amended the FXScript code and got rid of the de-interlacing section, created an new script, restarted FCP and it works! I'd like to add a toggle to switch de-interlacing on or off, but this'll do.
