Moving Timeline clip from FCP to Soundtrack Pro

Moving Timeline clip from FCP to Soundtrack Pro was created by Kimki1
This is a simple basic question...I am having trouble moving my timeline clip (audio clip) from FCP into SoundTrack Pro. When I control click on the audio clip for the menu and scroll down to the "Send to:" option for Soundtrack Audio File Project, it is not highlighted nor operable, consequently I cannot send the clip to SoundTrack Pro to edit my sound. Has anyone else had this problem. What am I doing wrong? I have reviewed FCP/Soundtrack manuals and viewed a ton of videos on Youtube but none deals with my issue, they just assume the option is working and viable. I should point out that I can send the clip using the "Send to Multiclip option...but I want to be able to use the Soundtrack Audio File Project button. Thanks any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

havent used fcp for over a year now and I may be talking through my head but I think you have to choose the movie not the audio only track then to the send to... (prepares to crash and burn through ignorance...)

find the audio file in the sequence ctrl click on it and choose Send to>Soundtrack Pro Audio File Project. just did it on an old laptop. multitrack is the option for both audio and video. don't know why yours is greyed out sorry
