Installing FCP5 on Mountain lion was created by Ilves
Hello!
I'm planning to update my home edit to newest Macbook Pro, that comes with Mountain lion. However I'm afraid I won't be able to install my FCP on it. See I have the FCP5 (First Final Cut Studio) and then I have the upgrade to FCP7. So I wouldn't need to use FCP5, only to install it first. Does anyone know if this is possible?

If you have the "upgrade" version of FCP 7, just run the installer, it will ask you only to enter the serial number from FCP 5, then just install 7.
