DVD Studio Pro 4 wont install on Intel Mac Pro

I have tried to install DVD Studio Pro 4 on my new Intel Mac Pro 12 Core by using the FCP Studio 2 install disk which says it is universal. My system tells me that Power Mac is no longer supported (which I know) but I thought since it was Universal it should install. I even tried to drill down into the DVD set and locate an installer strictly for the DVD app but unable to get one to run. Does anybody know if I can install my DVD Studio Pro 4 that came with the original FCP Studio 2 bundle?

I am assuming you are on lion, the installer that came with Final Cut Studio 2 is not supported in Lion. You can install Final Cut Studio 3 if you have it, if not you maybe able to manually install DVD Studio Pro with Pacifist. Simply find the DVD Studio Pro package and use Pacifist to install it then run all updates on the software.

Although Pacifist 2.6.4 says it is not lion compatible I was able to get it to work with other applications
