It's been a while since I've done anything noteworthy in Motion until recently - I took on the challenge of modeling a theorized 'cosmic orb' universe re our planets/planes etc. - turned out rather cool!! The video is getting a lot of buzz/re-uploads due to the content but I'm posting here just to show the capabilities of motion and I miss you guys . Some post effects are done in final cut (smoke/random lil' things) but all the 3D is Motion.
Sorry but I can't share other people's enthusiasm.
So much work and talent given to propose such an idiotic "theory"?
Come on, people, the Greeks knew the Earth was round more than 2000 years ago. Erathostenes even calculated the Earth radius (with impressive accuracy for the rudimentary tools he had - counting steps!!!).
How come people in the 21st century, despite ample proof that the Earth is round, still propose and defend such ****?
hmmm … trouble with movies in general is:
can you separately judge its art from its content?
As a German, instantly Riefenstahls Olympia comes to mind - cinematically a groundbreaking, still influential master-piece, nobody doubts, use of new camera tech, pov, edit, music … but content-wise? Ever listened to the German VO?…
Just to be clear: as an example for the conflict How ./. What (discussed Olympia many times at school and in my university years) … Others will chime in with more light-weighted examples as any Marvel movie…
I adore eye-candy, but was out within minutes. So much effort, so much talent … for so much nonsense.- Sorry, Nurbz, technically impressive, but the 'story' …?
Thank you all for the feedback - I had a feeling it might ruffle some feathers however I'm very happy and proud of this execution (and not here to debate the content as we'd go in circles). I did a follow up and went even more abstract, this time mixing M5 with DAZ.
