I have just installed a demo of CoreMelt TrackX. When I pull the generator onto my clip nothing happens. No window pops up, Now buttons anywhere? I am trying to track some graffiti onto a moving train.
I am using a FCPX V1.2.4 On OSX 10.9.4
I have a still image that I made into a compound clip. I have the moving train footage bellow that, I pull on the generator called simple tracker and nothing happens. Apart from a small drop media box in the inspector window, which doesn't seem to do anything.
So, you connect the Track Layer to the clip you want it to track. Select the Track Layer generator in the Timeline, so it is brought up in the Inspector. Top and bottom left of screen you should at least see the buttons to open up the control panels for Track Layer, too draw your tracking shape.
Then click to Track Forward button, let it analyze, then add an image, tweak.
Hi Ben, Thanks for replying, I have watched all video tutorials and for some unknown reason I am stuck.
I do not see any buttons on the screen. I will tell exactly what I am doing.....
I have my moving main clip on the timeline, then I have a still image on top of that converted into a compound clip.
I see both images because the picture has been key'd, I then go to generators and choose simple track or layer track,
pull it onto my timeline above the main clip.
Then nothing, No window pops up, no buttons to work or change anything!
It maybe something I am doing wrong?
Oh and i have installed the demo version which lasts about a week I think, Although it looks like my trial may be a waste of time....
