Assistant Editor needed for Boston area game show.

We’re looking for an assistant FCPX editor for a Boston area game show. Starts February 2016. $200/ day. If you are looking to work on a broadcast show, are motivated, highly organized, able to exercise discretion and keep strictest levels of confidentially, able to meet deadlines, efficient, a lover of workflows, and a good communicator (can communicate your progress in a timely manner and not afraid to tell us when you are bottlenecking) we’d love to have you on board.

Technical job requirements:

• Must have 2 years experience editing and at least 1 year of experience using FCPX
• Create and troubleshoot multicam creation
• Edit with mulicam clips

Things we’d expect you to learn on your own (if you don’t already now how), but will offer support and guidance on:

• Proxy media and remote workflows
• Ability to process and troubleshoot Lumberjack xml files into FCPX
• Sharing projects (sequences) between editors

If you prove to be efficient and a competent editor we will give you the chance to get hands on experience editing the shows.
