Hi
A couple of years ago i saw, and maybe bought, an FCPX template that was a series of animating masks. It wasn't like the Waikiki ones that use the full image to place it in a box (PIP) but was an overlay. I think the company was Swedish? I've no way of finding where it is, and have done lots of Googling! Any help would be welcome. Reward is a mince pie. Winner collects!

YAY! Just posting here increased my Googling skils ;)
This is the well known Swedish (!) company rampantdesigntools.com/product/rampant-s...-for-film-broadcast/

Anyone got any alternatives? I have a project where we will be using multiple musicians on screen a the same time and want an elegant way to do multi-screen and return to a single image.

Thanks! H

Digital Juice has a TON of these and they're very nice. They even have pre-made many of them as FCPX transitions. However, the company has just gone to a monthly subscription format, which doesn't apply or appeal to everyone's situation.

Crumple Pop and especially MotionVFX are very worth the time to check out.
There may be a few free ones of great quality on the free templates section here at FCP.co.

Thanks so much, Ben and D!
I'll check them out. I really don't like the monthly subscription idea! I can see it sounds like a great business idea, but everything is changing so fast. I also get clients to pay for specific effects, and i would feel more comfortable if it was a single package.

Many of us hate and distrust the monthly subscription model. For a broadcast station or ad agency, who makes purchases of content every month, it is great. For the rest of us, it is a scam, slowly draining us of many more dollars then we'd normally pay over the long haul.

1 year of PPro on a subscription can be more than simply purchasing FCPX outright.
