All,

The Idustrial Revolution free FCPX plugin machine is running again!
Here is out latest free plugin for FCPX, although you can open it in Motion as well

XEFFECTS WEB SEARCH PAGE
Download here idustrialrevolution.com/collections/xeff...ects-web-search-page

XEffects Web Search Page is a free title plugin for Final Cut Pro X that emulates the tapping in of data to a popular search engine's web page.

After entering the text beforehand, the plugin will display the cursor clicking on the text box and then the text being typed in

Stay with the 'Search' title or change the text to closer match a web search page.

The plugin has XYZ position & rotation camera adjustment to add an angle to the webpage if desired.

This plugin has been made free to download to the FCPX community, however please read the installation instructions and copyright restrictions.

Thank you, Peter. You are very generous to make this available. I've often had to mock up a search box like this but your plugin is superior with its animation capabilities. It makes a nice addition to your XEffects Social Media plugin that I have.

FWIW, is it too nitpicky to point out a small typo in the plugin:

No, thanks for pointing that out- I'll fix it once the downloading madness has eased a little!

as an alien to English, I'd say 'serch' = fully correct, as spoken.-
you speak 'sea' like a Spanish 'si', so why is 'search' not pronounced 'si-rch'? Or, 'se-arch'??

(ok, ok, as a German I just shutup, with our thousands of oddities in our language…)

@Peter:
fun idea for a plugin! THANKS for sharing!

It should be fixed now.

I should have checked as I made the plugin over a year ago and never got round to releasing it because of the old web page design of Idustrial Revolution.

More to come :)

Karsten,

Why is "Search" not pronounced 'si--rch'? Serch me. ;)

@Peter, thanks again for the plugin - and the fix. One more question: So why did you name the third text box label "Search Search"?
