Nice work, Deyson.
A special thanks for the detailed tutorial showing all the great features.
As I was watching I was planning on requesting a feature, but then near the end of the FCPX section you mention it's already been added (the ability to run these Bullet Points Titles on top of an image instead of a colored background). I was envisioning it over the generated backgrounds that FCPX produces (stone, metal, fabric, etc). Thanks for adding that aspect.
One feature I really like is the spin, which appears to rotate the perspective of the entire text plane, very classy.
Only one thing missing for me, actual bullets. We've got stars & stripes, arrows & X's but no actual bullets.
• See that? an actual bullet hole - produced by Option 8 key combination. One of my favorites. They look great with text, especially as actual bullet points (ironically), usually I prefer them a couple of points larger than the main body of text. •••
To everyone else, take the time to check out Deyson's attractive
& gorgeous effects.
Really great template... thanks so much! This is 99% of what I need for a project I'm working on, but there's one thing missing that I'm wondering if you can either add... or give me some pointers on how to accomplish.
I need to be able to (easily?) control the timing between each bullet point build. I'll be narrating some extra information about each bullet... so some will need to hang for longer before the next bullet appears so that I have the time to say what I need to say.
Ideally, it would be an attribute of the GUI for editing the title... so that I could apply it to different situations and control the hang time for each bullet individually, in every instance of the title applied in my project. This project will have about 8 individual bullet lists... and each list will have to have each bullet's hang time (or the delay between the appearance of each bullet) customized based on what I need to say.
That's great! That's some of the most exciting part! LOL! Been full-timing for 12 years and LOVE it! It's hard to imagine going back to a "sticks-and-bricks" house again. Love the freedom that comes with a home on wheels!
We have heard great things about being on the road. We had thought since we work from home why not take advantage and expand our backyard. We plan to start on a year across Florida, take it slow and see what happens.
I have subscribed you your website as it looks very informative. I have also subscribed to your youtube channel.
Deyson, this looks just great. I watched your video and I think I can make use of the bullet point thing for sure. I have Final Cut Pro X 10.1.4 (the latest version, I think). Will it work with that version of Final Cut?
