Hello everybody, I'm getting crazy to find out how to create an effect on some text fields for a credits sequence.
What I'm looking for is a plugin or a workout in general to create the following visual effect:
I have some text (opening credits for a short documentary)
and a noise as underscore (old vintage radio out of tuning noice, old radio crackle sound effect, the noise you get when move the tuning pot randomly)
Would love to have the text to follow the noice (more or less) as it gets out of "video sync", with some deformation of the font shape. I have clear it in mind but can't explain it properly... ;-) English isn't my native language.
I have seen somthing similar in the past on a lot of movie but can't remember any Movie Title at all...
Hope you can help me in solving that issue.
Thanks a lot
Cheers
Marco.

It sounds like you want to animate the level of "noise" in your text so that it matches the static audio. This could be done in Motion using an audio parameter adapted to a frequency level you've defined. Here's a link to a Motion tutorial by Ripple Training that sounds like it could easily be adapted to get the effect you're looking for.

Hi Alex, I already use your plugins.... and I have to say they are great! thanks!!!
In this case bad tv is close to the affect I have in mind, even if it's not 100% right. But....it's great and free. I can't complain at all!! ;-)
Cheers.
